About The Position

The Antenna and Microwave Department (AMD) technicians will work closely with engineering staff and technicians to perform antenna and radome measurements, including near field range tests. The ideal candidate would possess a working knowledge of antenna positioners and near field scanner mechanical systems. Work will primarily be performed onsite in Tewksbury, MA. Occasional support to labs in Marlboro and Andover may be required as needed. We value diverse skills and experience, so don’t hold back. Your qualification could add tremendous value to our team. Requirements

  • Typically requires an AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
  • Antenna or radar measurement and data processing
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
  • Ability to obtain INTERIM U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date

Nice To Haves

  • Hands on experience with microwave testing techniques, including using spectrum analyzers, Real-time Spectrum Analyzers (RSAs), Vector Network Analyzers (VNAs) and Performance Network Analyzer (PNAs)
  • Knowledge in: Microwave Engineering, Microwave Systems, Electromagnetic Theory and Radar Systems
  • Experience working directly with engineers, scientists, technicians, and leadership in an engineering lab environment
  • Ability to build positive, constructive professional relationships
  • ABET accreditation of educational institution
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong constructive problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse communities and cultures.

Responsibilities

  • Measurements of AESAs in a near field range
  • Some travel to integration sites, plus customer and subcontractor facilities, may be required
  • This role may include 2nd and 3rd shift as well as weekend shifts.
  • Timely communication of successes, issues, and opportunities for improvement to team members and management
