Job Description SECTION 1: JOB SUMMARY Entry support individual contributor that executes tasks, following a defined standard output or set of procedures. Provides support for internal teams in the Manufacturing Assembly area. Closely follows established administrative processes to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and quality of deliverables. Maintains high standards of professionalism, efficiency, personal communication, discretion, and independent judgment. SECTION 2: DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES In accordance with all applicable federal, state and local laws/regulations and Corporate Johnson & Johnson, procedures and guidelines, this position: Completes tasks for the support function of the Manufacturing Assembly area under direct supervision, and closely follows established administrative processes to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and quality of deliverables. Cleans and conducts maintenance tasks based on best practices in the industry in order to foster a safe working environment. Installs components of basic in-process products, assemblies, or sub-assemblies on the assembly line. Builds competency with routine machinery under direct supervision. Records daily assembly production records as input to manufacturing performance analysis. Demonstrates Johnson & Johnson’s Leadership Imperatives and Credo. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (FULL ANODE OPERATOR POSITION) o Electro-polish all needle types using anodes. o Responsible for start-up, monitoring, processing, troubleshooting, and maintaining of all anode finishing equipment. o Mix chemicals for blackening and blacken needles. o Process electro-polished needles through cleaning, siliconizing, and curing. o Responsible for performing weekly Preventative Maintenance. o Responsible for performing required attributes and variable testing of needles. o Associate must be able to perform all functions of the job by using CIM and MRP system. FOR CROSSTRAINING/ INTERIM TRAINING PURPOSES: ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (ELECTRO-POLISH ONLY) o Electro-polish all needle types using anodes. o Responsible for start-up, monitoring, and processing all Anode finishing equipment. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (SILICONIZING ONLY) o Process electro-polished needles through cleaning, siliconizing, and curing. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (ATTRIBUTE AND VARIABLE TESTING ONLY) o Responsible for performing required attributes and variable testing of needles. OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES: o Work in team environment behaving in a CREDO based respectful manner. o Comply with all federally regulated programs. o Adhere to J&J environmental and safety policies and guidelines. o Comply with all job specific safety procedures and utilize PPE when necessary. o Comply with quality system requirements as defined within procedures and instructions. o Use microscope and scale as required. o Utilize applicable software systems as needed for the job (e.g. ComplianceWire, ADAPTIV, etc.) o Consistently meet required work performance targets (RE’s), if applicable o Support LEAN and Six Sigma Initiatives. o Support Maintenance Excellence (ME2) including 6S and Operator Asset Care. o Accurately complete records as defined within the job procedures (e.g. manual and/or electronic documentation). o Perform other work-related duties as assigned by supervisor/facilitator. o Consistently meet required Training due date targets. o Assist process engineers and facilitators in trouble shooting and process improvement activities. o Support the Plant Diversity Process o Responsible for communicating business related issues or opportunities to next management level o Responsible for following all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices as applicable. o For those who supervise or manage a staff, responsible for ensuring that subordinates follow all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices and that all resources needed to do so are available and in good condition, if applicable o Responsible for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State, local and Company regulations, policies, and procedures o Performs other duties assigned as needed SECTION 3: EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION High school diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent skills, experience, or training. Requirements
