About The Position

At Regions, the Annuity Suitability Review Analyst reviews submitted contracts for placement to insurance carriers and accepts or denies requests. Primary Responsibilities Reviews insurance and annuity contracts sold by licensed bankers, related to age, time horizon, income need, liquidity, and investment experience to determine suitability Approves or denies investments on behalf the insurance carrier Serves as the internal client contact to address documentation issues or suitability concerns Responsibility for ensuring customers correctly understand insurance and annuity contracts Mitigates customer risk by anticipating customer concerns and questions, and determining if the product is suitable for the customer Monitors business unit activity to ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and internal procedures May receive instruction from senior analysts This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Ability to clearly communicate with various levels of management regarding any issues that arise
  • Ability to think critically and exercise sound judgement
  • Compliance understanding of insurance rules as well as product knowledge
  • Understanding of suitability as it relates to annuity sales to customers
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
