Animal Care Assistant- Entry Level (Weekends)

About The Position
Start your career in veterinary care with ShotVet, assisting veterinarians in providing affordable pet vaccine and wellness clinics for dogs and cats. This entry-level position requires no prior experience, as paid training is provided. Coverage is required from May to July, the busiest season of the year, and students or new graduates are welcome.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license required and HS Diploma or GED
- Comfortable handling dogs and cats
- Able to lift up to 40 lbs
- Reliable and team-oriented
Nice To Haves
- Existing knowledge in Preventative Wellness for pets
Responsibilities
- Assist veterinarians during pet vaccine clinics
- Handle and comfort dogs and cats
- Help with check-in, paperwork, and client support
- Support clinic setup and breakdown
