About The Position

A well-established healthcare organization serving communities in the beautiful Finger Lakes region of New York is seeking a skilled Anesthesiologist to join its collaborative medical team. This role is ideal for a board-certified or board-eligible physician with strong clinical expertise in anesthesia who is looking for a supportive environment that values professional growth, work-life balance, and high-quality patient care. What you will be doing: Provide anesthesia services for a variety of surgical procedures including endoscopy, orthopedic, general surgery, urology, spine, vascular, and ENT cases. Deliver high-quality patient care while collaborating with surgeons, nurses, and clinical staff in a team-oriented environment. Participate in a rotating on-call schedule of approximately 1 in 5 weeks (Wednesday–Tuesday), totaling about 9–10 call weeks per year including 1–2 holidays. Maintain regular weekday shifts (Monday–Friday) following on-call weeks. Contribute to a culture of patient safety, clinical excellence, and continuous improvement. Engage in ongoing professional development and continuing medical education opportunities. Experience you will need: Doctor of Medicine (MD or DO) with specialization in Anesthesiology. Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology. Active or eligible for medical licensure in the state of New York. Strong clinical knowledge of anesthesia practices across multiple surgical specialties. Ability to work effectively in a collaborative healthcare environment with a patient-centered approach.
