Anesthesia Veterinary Assistant (CARE)
About The Position
We are currently seeking assistants to help with cleanliness of the service department and equipment to allow the anesthesia technicians to focus on patient care. The primary duties of the assistant will include but not limited to: maintaining cleanliness of equipment and machines sweeping/mopping dusting/cleaning windows organizing basic/routine cleaning restocking supplies checking stock in machines and service carts cleaning and preparing items for sterilization Additionally, potential responsibilities include animal handling for procedures and induction and moving patients to other areas of the hospital. Shifts are Monday through Friday, times vary.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 lbs, bend, kneel, pull, push, twist and stand for an extended period of time.
