About The Position

Shady Grove Medical Center seeks to hire an experienced Anesthesia Tech for our Operating Room who will embrace our mission to extend God’s care through the ministry of physical, mental, and spiritual healing. As an Anesthesia Tech you will: • Maintain anesthesia equipment (clean, sterilize, test, calibrate and troubleshoot anesthesia equipment). • Keep records of equipment inspections. • Prepare and maintain patient monitoring devices and anesthesia delivery systems pre, intra and post anesthesia. • Assist with transport of patients and laboratory specimens as necessary. • Explain procedures and operating equipment’s to patients. • Provide services to patients under the direct supervision of a licensed anesthesia care provider.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Previous experience as anesthesia technician
  • Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required

Nice To Haves

  • Certified Anesthesia Technician Preferred
