About The Position

The Anesthesia Tech Specialist is responsible for ensuring that anesthesia supplies, equipment, and technical resources are readily available for anesthesia providers in all anesthetizing locations. This role also involves performing or supervising the technical aspects of clinical equipment.

Requirements

• At least one year experience in health-related field or in basic biological science with working knowledge of aseptic techniques and procedures.
• Working knowledge of pertinent safety regulations, physiology, and some medical terminology.
• Considerable initiative and resourcefulness coupled with well-developed interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of technical functions of anesthesia equipment.
• Handling or preparing biomedical or related equipment.
• Must be certified or willing to work towards certification.
