About The Position
Under direct supervision of a licensed anesthesia professional the anesthesia technician: assists the anesthesiologist and/or anesthetist in the acquisition, preparation and application of the equipment and supplies required for the administration of anesthesia. Adheres to Universal Precautions in all clinical areas. Provides support to routine surgical cases by assisting in the preparation and maintenance of patient equipment and anesthesia delivery systems, before, during and after anesthesia. Is the Lead Anesthesia Technician. Estimated pay range for this position is $20.02 - $27.61 / hour depending on experience.
Requirements
- High School,Cert,GED,Trn,Exper.
- Basic Life Support.
- Hospital experience as an anesthesia technician.
Nice To Haves
- Certified Anesthesia Technician preferred
- ACLS preferred
- Experience as EMT paramedic desired
