About The Position

Assists in the supervision of an anesthesia tech work group whom provide services in the ORs and procedure areas. May be assigned duties from the Supervisor including but not limited to policy enforcement, corrective action, performance appraisals, payroll emulation, etc. Responsible for directing day to day workflow. Performs Anesthesia Tech duties as described in the Anesthesia Tech job description.

Requirements

• High school diploma/ GED required.
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and written and oral communication skills are required.
• American Heart Association BLS Certified.

Nice To Haves

• 2-3 years of anesthesia tech, sterile processing technician, perioperative services tech, or similar role experience preferred.
• Surgical Inventory Management System (SIMS) and Lawson ordering experience preferred.
• Experience with direct patient care, CNA or PCA preferred.
• Knowledge of reprocessing principles, quality assurance, inventory control, and continuous performance improvement concepts is preferred.
