Anesthesia Pain Specialist Independent 1099
About The Position
Concentra, a large healthcare company, is seeking an Anesthesia / Pain Medicine Specialist to work as a 1099 independent contractor at one of their locations. This contract role is designed to complement an existing practice, typically involving a 4-hour shift on a weekly or biweekly basis. Concentra Advanced Specialists are responsible for managing medically complex patients, facilitating their return to work, and supporting functional restoration. The specialist will collaborate with medical and therapy providers to deliver services for orthopedic and neuromusculoskeletal work-related injuries, communicate with employers, and actively participate in case management. The treatments provided are intended to significantly improve the lives of patients.
Requirements
- Licensure requirements of the state of practice
- Graduate of accredited MD or DO program of accredited university
- Unrestricted DEA license for state of jurisdiction
- Board certification or Board Eligibility in the field of Anesthesia and or Pain Medicine
- Must have Medical Malpractice Insurance which will cover you while on site

- Preferred experience in treating patients with work related injuries
Responsibilities
- Treating patients on site at Concentra for approximately a 4-hour shift on a weekly or biweekly basis
