Our robust benefits package includes the following: Competitive Health & Welfare Benefits Monthly $43 stipend to use toward ancillary benefits HSA with qualifying HDHP plans with company match 401k plan after 6 months of service with company match (Part-time employees included) Employee Assistance Program that is available 24/7 to provide support Employee Appreciation Days Employee Wellness Events The Ancillary Front Office Representative is responsible for completing the pre-registration, registration, eligibility verification, verification of benefits and pre-certification/documentation processes which involves communicating with patients, primary care physician offices and insurance companies to ensure that all appropriate demographic and reimbursement information is accurate to prior to the patient’s scheduled appointment. Requirements

  • High school diploma/GED or equivalent working knowledge preferred.
  • Successful candidate must have a minimum of one year of patient registration experience in a medical office or healthcare setting.
  • Requires knowledge of insurance rules and regulations, medical terminology, and computer scheduling systems.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with physicians, patients, and the public and be capable of establishing good working relationships with both internal and external customers.

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred.
  • Previous experience in collecting money is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Promptly greets and acknowledges patients.
  • Instructs patients in completion of medical history and patient information forms, and makes any necessary corrections to the patients account.
  • Responsible for identifying and collecting co-payments, co-insurances and past due account balances.
  • Explains financial requirements to the patient in response to patient questions on billing and insurance matters.
  • Responsible for accurately completing and interpreting insurance verification and benefits.
  • Maintains a clean and organized front office workspace.
