This role designs, enhances, and optimizes Anaplan models that power Symetra’s sales incentive compensation programs, including commissions, bonuses, quotas, and performance reporting. The Model Builder translates plan documents and business requirements into scalable calculation logic, ensuring results are accurate, transparent, and audit-ready. The role supports recurring payout cycles, maintains model integrity in a production environment, and implements updates in a controlled and well-documented manner. They test and deploy model updates, support user testing, and document model logic and data flows to ensure strong governance. This role reports to the Director of Incentive Compensation & Analytics and works cross-functionally with HR, Finance, Sales, and Data teams to implement plan changes, improve automation, and reduce manual effort. This position supports incentive compensation programs impacting hundreds of sales professionals and millions of dollars in annual commission payments, directly influencing sales performance and business outcomes.
