The Analytics Strategic Planning Director is focused on advising senior leaders across the Consumer Marketplace portfolio as to how Data and Analytics can be utilized to beat increasing competition in the market. This includes building relationships with all senior leaders of the Consumer Marketplace portfolio and partnering with them to establish leading strategic success measures for each key part of the business and then ensuring the Marketplace Analytics team has the right strategy to operationalize measurement against these key metrics. As a strategic advisor to the Consumer Marketplace, this leader will remain current on industry trends and proactively monitor strategic internal KPI’s, providing strategic recommendations as to how the Consumer Marketplace Operations, Marketing or Product teams should take action to ensure these businesses are the most data driven in the Market. The Director will also work with senior business leaders to understand the future vision in order to ensure key data foundational elements are included in business plans and key success measures are considered collectively across growth initiatives, ensuring the Consumer Marketplace is truly a data-driven organization. This role is also accountable for key strategic deliverables throughout the year such as annual forecasting, monthly forecasts aligned to annual forecast, KPI focus throughout the year relative to progress towards forecasts, group capacity planning (in conjunction with Director Marketplace Analytics) and role delineation between business analytics and other analytics teams across Cox Automotive.
