This role: As an Analytics & BI Intern, Direct-to-Consumer (D2C), you’ll turn e-commerce data into actionable dashboards & insights that influence commercial, merchandising, and marketing decisions. Requirements

  • Current student in their third year or beyond of a bachelor's program or currently enrolled in a master’s program
  • Must be able to work a part-time 15 to16 hour-per-week schedule with a minimum of 2 days per week onsite in Needham, MA
  • Interest in Ecommerce, Business, Marketing, and/or Digital
  • Academic focus in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, Business Analytics, or a related field
  • Prior academic and/or professional experience using SQL to query and analyze large datasets
  • Prior academic and/or professional experience using BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker
  • Intermediate Excel skills required
  • Comfortable working with data—able to interpret metrics and identify meaningful trends
  • Ability to communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Self-starter who's comfortable working in a fast-paced retail/e-commerce environment
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and highly organized with strong time management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-motivated with strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
  • Able to follow through on deliverables and resolve issues effectively
  • Collaborative team player with a positive, can-do attitude

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in HTML or CSS a plus

Responsibilities

  • Write and optimize SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze data from our data warehouse
  • Build and maintain dashboards and reports in PowerBI and Google Looker Studio that surface key retail metrics such as sales performance, inventory health, customer behavior, and conversion trends
  • Monitor website KPIs to understand content and sales performance, as well as customer engagement with email communications; using this data to identify optimizations and risks.
  • Conduct ad hoc analyses to answer business questions from stakeholders across commercial, merchandising, and marketing
  • Ideate, implement, and evaluate AB tests
  • Assist in data validation and QA to ensure reporting accuracy
