About The Position
Piper Companies is seeking a Analytical Research Associate to join a team in at a growing and innovative oncology cell therapy company in Branchburg, NJ. The foundation of this role is flow cytometry and ELISA-based work.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience working in a discovery role
- Experience in cell-based, flow cytometry, and ELISA assays
- Cell culture experience
- Bachelor of Science in related field (Biology, Biotech, Biological Sciences) or Masters with 3+ years of experience
Nice To Haves
- Exposure to cell therapy products is preferred
- experience with Vi-Cell Blu a plus
Responsibilities
- Complete analytical testing and experimentation, with a focus on cell-based, PCR, flow cytometry, and ELISA assays--experience with Vi-Cell Blu a plus
- Maintain, calibrate, and operate analytical equipment, along with laboratory material and reagent inventory
- Document testing in accordance with laboratory requirements
- Assist in laboratory and product failure investigations
- Author technical and scientific documents including protocols, reports, and SOPs
- Support technical transfer of methods to manufacturing for internal and external QC testing
