Schedule Full Time: Remote, salaried position with travel A Day in the Life You start your morning in the Southeastern U.S.—often near Atlanta, GA—heading to a customer site. You’ll check in with their lab team, diagnose an instrument alarm, swap a component, and bring a system back online. After lunch, you install an upgrade kit and walk users through operating software. Before you leave, you document your work to LECO’s ISO standards and plan tomorrow’s training session at another facility. Your Territory Primary service area includes one or more of the following states: Georgia, Alabama, Florida, and South Carolina, with travel to surrounding regions as needed.

Requirements

  • Self-motivation and excellent written and verbal communication
  • Professionalism and adherence to each customer’s site and safety requirements
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Strong mechanical aptitude; experience with AC and DC electronics (or the ability to learn)
  • One or more of the following: Two Year Technical Degree or Trade School
  • Prior Military with training in a technical field
  • Equivalent work experience or training in a technical field
  • Possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Should have a personal credit card, or the ability to obtain one
  • Pass a background check and substance abuse screenings
  • Must be authorized to work in the US without restriction

Nice To Haves

  • Chemistry or military background is a plus, not a requirement

Responsibilities

  • Deliver preventive and general maintenance, breakdown repair, troubleshooting, and corrective actions on analytical and metallographic instrumentation
  • Install new instruments and implement updates and upgrade kits
  • Train users on theory, operation, software, and sound maintenance practices
  • Ensure all work aligns with LECO’s ISO accreditation
