The “Fine Print” – What You’ll Do Commit to 6-10 weeks, full time (40 hours per week) paid internship. Hourly rate will vary based on role, level of education, qualification and location. Program start dates are in early June (Summer). Professional and personal development curriculum throughout the program, including networking opportunities, workshops and panel discussions. Final presentations of projects along with other interns at the conclusion of the program. Work with an interdisciplinary team of scientists to develop and perform next generation characterization platform for all existing programs. Learn and perform cell-based functional assays or ddPCR assays to complete a project over the course of the program under the supervision of manager. Process and analyze data using BioRad PCR instrument, Live-cell imaging software, and other relevant analytical tools and keep accurate and complete lab documentation and electronic files. Independently execute experiments while maintaining a collaborative and safe laboratory environment. Participate in team meetings, present findings, and contribute to discussions on assay improvement and troubleshooting.
