About The Position

This is an opportunity to join an award-winning senior investment sales team with significant opportunities for growth within one of the nation’s largest commercial real estate investment brokerages. This role will support one of the firm’s top-producing teams, delivering institutional-caliber investment analysis and valuations for high-profile commercial real estate assets. This role is designed for a highly motivated, detail-oriented individual who is looking to develop strong financial, analytical, and operational skills in a fast-paced, transaction-driven environment. The position will lead financial analysis and underwriting for the team’s active deal pipeline across a wide range of commercial real estate investment opportunities and will be responsible for producing institutional-quality financial models and valuation analyses that support pricing strategy, client advisory, marketing initiatives, and high-value transaction execution.

Requirements

  • We are seeking a sharp, detail-oriented, and highly driven individual who can learn quickly and operate in a high-performance environment.
  • 0–3 years of experience in real estate, finance, or a related analytical field
  • Strong proficiency in Excel (financial modeling experience is a plus but not required)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy with the ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines simultaneously
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and complete projects on time with accuracy in a fast-paced environment
  • High level of ownership, accountability, and work ethic
  • Self-motivated with a strong desire to learn and grow within commercial real estate

Responsibilities

  • Lead financial underwriting and investment analysis across all properties within the team’s deal pipeline, including cash flow modeling, IRR analysis, cap rate analysis, comparable sales analysis, owner-user analysis, land residual analysis, and sensitivity analysis.
  • Review and analyze property financial statements, leases, and supporting documentation to determine appropriate underwriting assumptions, modeling approach, scope of analysis, and timing of financial deliverables.
  • Build and maintain sophisticated financial models for single and multi-tenant retail, office, mixed-use, and redevelopment opportunities.
  • Analyze comparable sales, lease data, market trends, and pricing dynamics across Southern California to support valuation and underwriting assumptions.
  • Organize and present analytical findings, draw objective conclusions, and recommend appropriate modeling parameters and assumptions.
  • Prepare investment memorandums, marketing copy, financial analyses, and investor presentation materials.
  • Maintain underwriting consistency and quality control across all financial deliverables.
