About The Position
Analysts are graduate students who provide technical assistance to community leaders, business owners, policymakers, and other organizations to create good jobs and new wealth in economically distressed communities. Since 2012, analysts have helped hundreds of NCGrowth clients across the U.S. Analysts are hired as part-time, temporary employees and are enrolled graduate and PhD students in Business Administration, Planning, Industrial Engineering, Agriculture, Information Sciences, Policy and other disciplines. This is a remote position; however, we are seeking analysts to travel to clients 2-3 times over the course of the projects. Examples of Past Projects: IMPAN analysis; feasibility studies; Data visualization; Forestry and farm management plans; Manufacturing process improvement; Creating financial models, business plans, marketing plans, SOPs, HR policies.
