Enthalpy Analytical - part of the larger organization, Montrose Environmental Group - is comprised of over 9 laboratories servicing air, water, and soil testing. Regulations drive the need for our services, with our unique capabilities allowing us to add value to clients beyond environmental compliance. Our Denver, CO Lab is currently seeking a Full-Time Laboratory Analyst to join our Wet Chemistry Department for ion chromatography (IC) sample preparation and data review. Schedule: Training Period Monday – Friday 1st shift, with target schedule to have one day weekend availability, with opportunity for alternative schedule. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Bachelors degree or higher in Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Science, or equivalent preferred
  • Previous laboratory experience preferred

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of analytical methods, analytical instruments, GLP, and lab safety
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ion Chromatography experience

Responsibilities

  • Preparing water and soil samples for hexavalent chromium analysis via ion chromatography
  • Instrument maintenance and daily operation
  • Preparing solutions and standards
  • Maintaining tidy laboratory workstations
  • Cleaning laboratory glassware
  • Maintaining organized sample preparation and analysis records
  • Peer-reviewing data
  • Managing sample backlog, hold times, and due dates
  • Communicating status updates and potential concerns with Group Leaders
  • Assisting Group Leaders in maintaining inventory of consumables, reagents, and instrument components
  • Complying with Enthalpy’s Quality Assurance Program, Health and Safety Plan, and other policies
  • Other responsibilities as assigned by the Group Leaders, Operations Manager, Technical Director, and/or Lab Director
