About The Position

The Analyst Tech Support role at Fanatics, Inc. involves providing technical support and troubleshooting for a diverse range of information systems within a large public organization. The position requires a strong understanding of PC operation, maintenance, and repair, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with users to resolve issues and provide guidance on computer applications and systems.

Requirements

  • College degree or related work experience, or high school diploma/equivalent with related work experience.
  • CompTIA Net+ certified or equivalent certification.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience with handheld scanners, label printers, and ruggedized equipment is a plus.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to stay calm in stressful situations.
  • Ability to balance multiple challenging priorities and work with minimal direction.
  • Ability to lift computer equipment weighing up to 60 lbs.
  • Experience troubleshooting and resolving WAN/LAN print related issues.
  • Ability to perform Active Directory administrative tasks.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in solving OSI model issues.
  • Proficiencies in Macintosh OS, Windows OS, and MS Office products.
  • A strong dedication to quality customer service.
  • Good analytical skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Perform software installation, diagnostics, and repair.
  • Conduct network analysis and troubleshooting.
  • Maintain confidential data and information.
  • Analyze problems and identify alternative solutions.
  • Communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
  • Learn to operate server hardware and software.
  • Perform highly skilled PC maintenance, repair, analysis, and testing.
  • Ensure compliance with standard practices and procedures in computer networking and information systems work.
  • Establish and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues and users.
  • Assist in documenting for self-service end-user support knowledge base.
  • Help install local area network cabling systems and equipment.
