FalconXNew York, NY

About The Position

FalconX is a pioneering team of operators, investors, and builders committed to revolutionizing institutional access to the crypto markets. Operating at the intersection of traditional finance and cutting-edge technology, FalconX addresses the industry's foremost challenges: Navigating the digital asset market can be complex and fragmented, with limited products and services that support trading strategies, structures, and liquidity found in conventional financial markets. As a comprehensive solution for all digital asset strategies from start to scale, FalconX operates as the connective tissue empowering clients with seamless navigation through the ever- evolving cryptocurrency landscape. About the Team The Strategic Opportunities team is a small, multidisciplinary team of people with diverse backgrounds and experience that report to the CEO. It is responsible for identifying, designing, and leading the execution of value-creating, cross-functional initiatives. The team works directly with senior leadership to build new businesses, address complex or time-sensitive situations, and support the strategic planning processes for the firm. The Role As an Analyst on the Strategic Opportunities team, you will report to the Chief of Staff and act as a critical leverage multiplier for the CEO, the Director of Strategic Opportunities, and the Chief of Staff. You will frequently be embedded in the business, working cross-functionally with leaders to solve the firm's messiest problems, capture data, and enable others to make data-driven decisions.

Requirements

  • You have 2+ years of experience working in highly cross functional settings, and in a role that spans strategy, analysis, and operations in a fast-paced environment
  • You are self-driven; we’d rather have to tell you to slow down than to speed up. You don’t wait on others to solve problems; you proactively step into the gap to offer solutions yourself.
  • Critical and first principles thinking (e.g., ability to question how we are working rather than simply executing), and the ability to zoom out to the most important questions
  • You have excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information into concise, actionable recommendations for senior leadership.
  • You have a passion for digging deep into data, problem-solving, and building clear frameworks.
  • You have a commitment to the highest ethical standards and can handle sensitive information with discretion.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in the crypto ecosystem, finance, or fintech is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the company’s operating rhythm, operating one or more of our senior leadership forums and setting the agenda for the firm's most senior leaders.
  • Prep the CEO for all key engagements, proactively resolve problems, and deal with issues before they reach the CEO's desk.
  • Work with the Chief of Staff to develop compelling content and narratives for the CEO for internal and external consumption, including company presentations, media engagements, and key meetings.
  • Project manage across large groups of stakeholders, leading meetings and wrangling cross-functional working teams towards a solution.
  • Help drive annual planning and OKR tracking across the firm, reporting progress to senior leadership.
  • Act as a liaison between senior leadership and working teams to ensure alignment, execution continuity, and the removal of operational inefficiencies.
  • Serve as the go-to resource for solving messy, ambiguous problems that must be solved but do not fall neatly into the purview of an existing person’s job description.
  • Own operational projects from definition to solutioning to implementation, tackling a variety of ‘0 to 1’ problems and incubating new processes.
  • Lead quantitative and qualitative analyses to evaluate business opportunities, investments, and operational changes to support executive decision-making.
