About The Position

Will be responsible for supporting data integrity processes, aid in correcting school data errors and the support of mission-critical student information systems as it relates to state and federal reporting. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Incumbent must achieve the following outcomes with or without reasonable accommodation: Assist Manager with collection and analysis of all APS STARS related data and develop further documentation for state reporting when needed. Supports District users over the phone and using electronic media with data integrity questions and issues. Assists in the development and maintenance of SIS training documentation. Delivers training and support to various District users. Both one on one and group settings. Analyzes, researches and corrects data within the SIS. Identifies data integrity issues. Assists in developing processes/procedures to correct data integrity issues. Works with school staff and others to correct data. Assists in communicating policy/procedure changes from SIS to District users. Assists with troubleshooting application failures. Interfaces between functional users, SIS and District users. Investigates new SIS features and works with users to evaluate risk/need and assists in developing recommendations for implementing such features. Works with schools to resolve errors before reporting to the NMPED.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Valid New Mexico driver's license with insurable driving record.

  • Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet and database programs such as Microsoft Excel, Word and Access

  • Knowledge of APS community, computer system, financial and legal requirements.
