As an Analyst on our Revenue Operations team, you will be responsible for supporting Yelp’s Sales and Customer Success groups to help: administer compensation, execute sales processes, distribution of accounts, and make data-driven decisions. Success in the role is defined by the candidate's ability to deliver timely results, establish systems integrity, data accuracy, and improve technical capabilities. You will help identify and reduce systems risk while proactively communicating improvements to leadership. Requirements

  • Minimum of 2+ years of working experience within planning, business operations, finance, sales/revenue operations, customer success management, or in management consulting roles for these functions.
  • Requires an understanding of standard business practices related to Sales and/or Customer Success processes and systems - experience with projects improving these processes is a plus.
  • Data-driven approach to problem-solving.
  • Track record for being detail-oriented with a demonstrated ability to self-motivate and follow-through on projects
  • Experience with incentive compensation design and execution
  • Experience in leveraging technology to automate and streamline internal processes, increasing operational efficiency and scalability.
  • Experience with building and maintaining compliance standards
  • Capable of working a queue of requests and meeting service level agreements (SLAs)
  • Effective verbal/written communication and data presentation skills, including an ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams
  • Advanced Excel Skills (Index Match, pivot tables, etc)
  • Experience with a CRM, ideally Salesforce
  • Experience with data analysis and visualization tools (SQL, Tableau, etc)

Responsibilities

  • Become an expert in our sales policies and compensation processes in order to understand their intention, execute them on a recurring basis and maximize their impact on our ability to support the sales group’s goals.
  • Optimize internal processes that support policy and develop workflows and methodologies to increase accuracy, efficiency and effectiveness of variable compensation administration.
  • Manage and resolve cases and inquiries efficiently, adhering to established protocols and guidelines while ensuring consistent and exceptional customer service experience.
  • Maintain established company and federal compliance standards while providing insight on their continuing improvements.
  • Support data collection, cleaning, analysis, and visualization projects for current and net new initiatives.
  • Utilize data in order to develop hypotheses and recommendations for business problems and present those ideas back to leadership to drive change and gain investment.
  • Execute ad hoc requests and inquiries within Salesforce in order to help answer sales leader questions related to variable compensation and account assignment policy and execution.
  • Monitor and report on the status of assigned projects including identifying actual or potential issues and risks which may impact final results or deliverables. Provide routine updates to the business and senior levels of leadership.

  • Compensation range for this position is $75,000 - $100,000 annually. You may also be offered a bonus and benefits.
