About The Position

The Analyst, Research II is responsible for utilizing R-Log or designated Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) along with all available systems and databases to reconcile discrepancies and escalations across departments, shifts, and customer interactions. Timely resolution is critical to meet SLA metrics for time in the facility.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required; 1–4 years of relevant experience.
  • Minimum 1 year of warehouse experience including computer skills.
  • Effective communication and PC skills required.
  • Customer service driven.
  • Strong team player.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Research and resolve discrepancies and escalations accurately using all available resources.
  • Provide reports to Supervisor detailing errors, improper scans, and shift-based misses to drive accountability.
  • Maintain product flow by resolving issues in FIFO or prioritization order.
  • Communicate resolution and completion of prioritized orders to customers and management.
  • Report repetitive errors and problems to the Inventory Control Manager.
  • Assist in identifying root causes of discrepancies or SLA misses and recommend preventive actions; report findings to the Operations Manager and Customer.
  • Maintain strong account relationships by responding to inquiries courteously and efficiently; foster positive customer rapport.
  • Promote continuous improvement in warehouse and inventory functions using established quality processes (ISO, account-specific) and QDM initiatives.
  • Understand and meet all customer quality goals.
  • Participate in quality programs and project teams.
  • Recommend and/or lead projects to improve departmental work processes and procedures.
  • Run and maintain reports; drive results to meet facility KPIs and deadlines.
  • Physically move orders to appropriate departments and communicate status of expedited or hot orders throughout the process.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Customers, and Support Groups to ensure timely order movement and fulfillment.
  • Update customers on order status, shipping, and any related issues.
  • Identify required parts and determine alternative solutions when parts are unavailable to keep orders moving.
  • Work with supervisors to help set daily commitments.
  • Support tracking and execution of rework projects throughout the facility.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • This position operates in a specialty designated federal area and, due to contractual and regulatory obligations, requires U.S. citizenship in order to be considered for this position.
