This Analyst role is a vital part of the AB InBev North American Zone (NAZ) regional Sustainability & Procurement team, based in St. Louis, MO. The Capex Sourcing Analyst will collaborate closely with Supply colleagues to create value and negotiate prices within the annual capital plan portfolio, procuring services and equipment for North American facilities, while maintaining strong vendor relationships and delivering financial results.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, required
  • 1.5+ years of procurement, supply chain, category management, finance or related experience
  • Proven project management skills with the ability to lead multiple projects with minimal direction
  • Key procurement skills of analytics, negotiation, stakeholder influence and communications
  • Understanding of sourcing, analytic and presentation tools such as MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and Power BI
  • Candidate must be local to or willing to relocate to St. Louis. This role is not being considered for virtual work at this time.

Responsibilities

  • Enable future growth by procuring the highest quality Capex materials and services that deliver the lowest total system cost and highest performance for critical projects
  • Negotiate new contracts, manage contract change orders all while ensuring compliance
  • Interact with senior leadership & stakeholders to gain alignment and communicate strategic initiatives
  • Review, sign and ensure full implementation of negotiated contracts and purchase orders
  • Analyze category information to identify opportunities for efficiencies via value-engineering, price reduction and overall supply-chain optimization
  • Resolve outstanding contract/purchase order issues and claims with suppliers
  • Develop new suppliers aligned with strategic project needs
  • Improve operational effectiveness of current suppliers to improve total cost of ownership efficiencies
  • Collaborate with Global Procurement team to leverage ABI global scale and expertise
