Purpose: The Analyst, Pricing & Revenue Management helps determine product and pricing strategies to maximize company profit and growth. The analyst considers how best to accomplish long-term objectives by developing robust models and processes, collecting relevant information, identifying trends and truths, and communicating the best course of action clearly and concisely.

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar analytical role.
Strong understanding of consumer behavior with regards to travel planning, booking and departure seasonality, and price sensitivity.
Demonstrated high level of proficiency with Excel, including building new models and improving and adapting existing models.
Prior experience building dynamic reports with Excel.
Strong critical thinking with an analytical approach to problem solving.
Demonstrated the ability to work through complexity to identify root causes and develop effective and simple solutions.
Ability to work cross-functionally, develop relationships and motivate performance.
Tenacious problem solving and continuous improvement mindset.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Comfort taking direction and independently managing areas of responsibility.
Ability to work under pressure and deliver highly accurate and timely deliverables.
Comfortable and casual-dress business environment, with occasional requirement for full business attire for meetings or presentations.
Must be authorized to work in the US.

Nice To Haves

Prior airline management or consumer pricing experience preferred.
Bachelor's degree or higher preferred.

Responsibilities

Optimize revenue strategy:
Maximize total revenue by setting prices and availabilities for a set of markets.
Ensure prices are competitive with other airlines across products and markets.
Monitor booking levels to ensure demand is fully captured at the highest willingness to pay.
Support network growth:
Analyze trends across bases, spokes, and markets.
Provide inputs on marginal growth analyses.
Guide department and company leadership:
Revenue strategy and forecast.
Strategy effectiveness.
Other planning and pricing initiatives as required.
