About The Position

Voya Investment Management is seeking an analyst for the Portfolio Implementation & Management team (PIM) within the Multi-Asset Strategies and Solutions group (MASS). MASS manages multi-asset and structured strategies, including target date and target risk products, 529 plans, portable alpha, and closed-end funds. PIM is responsible for managing the day-to-day investment activities for the MASS team. This includes managing client activity, cash and portfolio positioning, rebalancing, and implementation of all derivatives strategies. The PIM team collaborates intimately with the Asset Allocation and Manager Selection Teams to implement asset allocation (strategic and tactical) and underlying manager changes in an efficient manner.

Requirements

  • An undergraduate degree with 1 to 4 years of relevant experience; an advanced degree (CFA, MBA, etc.) is not required but will be taken into consideration.
  • Demonstrated experience, understanding and interest in global markets required.
  • Ability to quickly learn and master various technology platforms related to portfolio construction and trading.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel is required.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail and a proactive nature are crucial.
  • Enjoy working in a dynamic team environment with an ability to collaborate effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in maintaining the derivatives platform including execution of futures, currency forwards, options, and total return swaps. This includes establishing and sustaining broker relationships.
  • Management of daily client activity, monthly rebalances, manager and asset allocation changes.
  • Maintain and enhance the proprietary Fund-of-Funds (FoF) platform, which is the team’s primary implementation application as well as the central source for all current and historical portfolio data.
  • Assess and propose optimal vehicles for portfolio implementation, including funds, ETFs, and derivatives.
  • Establish and maintain thorough process and workflow documents.
  • Liaise with various internal groups to ensure operational accuracies and efficiencies, performance is aligned with expectations and compliance/legal/regulatory requirements are met across all the strategies.
