About The Position

The Analyst, Payroll Tax will oversee complex day to day payroll tax compliance across the US and Canada. This role is based at Brinker’s Restaurant Support Center (RSC), which supports the success of Chili’s® Grill & Bar and Maggiano’s Little Italy® and directly impacts Team Members and Guests. Requirements

• 4+ years of payroll experience, with a strong focus on tax compliance and payroll processing.
• In-depth understanding of payroll tax regulations, filings, and agency communications
• Experience working with ADP SmartCompliance or similar tax service providers
• Experience in Oracle Payroll Cloud, or similar payroll system
• Excellent organizational, communication, and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Own all aspects of payroll tax operations, including U.S. and Canada
• Perform monthly, quarterly and year end tax balancing and reconciliations
• Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and compliance
• Investigate and resolve escalations; perform root cause analysis and implement preventive measures
• Conduct testing of Oracle Payroll Cloud tax updates and legislative releases.
• Troubleshoot Oracle payroll tax issues and coordinate with IT or Oracle support as needed
• Interface regularly with ADP Tax Services to resolve discrepancies and ensure timely filings
• Maintain process documentation, tax calendars, and SOPs related to payroll tax operations
