About The Position

The Operations Analyst will be responsible for business and systems analysis, eliciting and documenting business requirements, and evaluating existing systems for improvements. This role involves providing operational and platform support for IT managed systems, assisting with configuration, access management, and troubleshooting issues. The analyst will also create and maintain process documentation, support adherence to standards, and manage change and enhancement requests. Key aspects include serving as a liaison between business partners, IT teams, and vendors, coordinating communication, and tracking initiatives for continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
  • Associate degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in business analysis, systems analysis, IT operations support, or a related role.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience supporting enterprise systems or IT platforms.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, Business Analysis, Service Management, Lean).

Responsibilities

  • Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements, functional needs, and process workflows.
  • Evaluate existing systems and processes to identify gaps, risks, or opportunities for improvement.
  • Translate business needs into clear specifications, documentation, or work requests for technical teams.
  • Support IT managed platforms and systems through analysis, documentation, and coordination activities.
  • Assist with system configuration, access management, data maintenance, or administrative support tasks as appropriate.
  • Help troubleshoot issues by coordinating with technical teams and vendors to identify root causes and resolution paths.
  • Create and maintain process documentation, workflows, SOPs, and reference materials.
  • Ensure documentation remains current and reflects changes to systems, processes, or support models.
  • Support adherence to established standards, controls, and operational practices.
  • Review and assess enhancement, change, or improvement requests for feasibility, scope, and effort.
  • Assist in prioritizing discussions by providing analysis of impact, dependencies, and risks.
  • Support planning and coordination of approved changes through execution and validation.
  • Serve as a liaison between business partners, IT teams, and external vendors.
  • Support communication, follow up, and issue tracking across stakeholders.
  • Assist in documenting roles, responsibilities, and support expectations.
  • Track activities, dependencies, and outcomes related to assigned initiatives.
  • Provide status updates, analysis, and documentation to leadership as needed.
  • Participate in continuous improvement efforts to enhance system effectiveness and operational efficiency.
