The Listening & Talent Insights Analyst will play a critical role in capturing and interpreting employee feedback to inform strategic decisions and enhance the overall employee experience. This role focuses on designing and executing listening strategies—including surveys, pulse checks, and focus groups—and transforming data into actionable insights that drive engagement and organizational effectiveness. This is a REMOTE role teleworking from home, requiring occasional travel to work on-site at Amentum’s U.S. headquarters in Virginia. US Citizenship is required to apply.

Requirements

  • Analytical Thinking and Data Analysis: Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights. Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills with ability to translate complex data into meaningful narratives for diverse audiences and present in a clear, compelling manner. Expert level knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Collaboration: Works effectively across teams and levels.
  • Attention to Detail: Ensures accuracy and reliability in reporting.
  • Confidentiality: Maintains discretion with sensitive employee information.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Analytics, Psychology, or related field.
  • 5 years of experience in employee engagement, organizational development, or HR analytics.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Must be a US Citizen to apply.
  • REMOTE ROLE with the ability to travel periodically <10% to Chantilly, VA area to work on-site.

  • Experience with survey platforms and statistical analysis preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Listening Strategy & Execution Design and administer engagement surveys, pulse checks, and focus groups across the enterprise. Ensure alignment of survey instruments with organizational priorities and cultural values.
  • Data Analysis & Insights Analyze quantitative and qualitative feedback to identify trends, themes, and opportunities for improvement. Develop dashboards and reports that translate data into actionable insights for HR and business leaders. Partner with Employee Engagement leadership to integrate findings into enterprise action plans.
  • Reporting & Governance Maintain data integrity and confidentiality in all listening activities. Align program-specific survey results with enterprise-level reporting for holistic insights. Establish metrics to measure the effectiveness of listening programs and recommend enhancements.
  • Collaboration & Enablement Work cross-functionally with HR, Communications, and Business Units to ensure insights inform decision-making. Support storytelling initiatives by highlighting employee voice and feedback trends.
