About The Position

Comcast’s Technology, Product & Experience (TPX) organization works at the intersection of media and technology. Our innovative teams are continually developing and delivering products that transform the customer experience. About the Role: A Tier 1 IT Analyst provides entry‑level technical support and assists in the maintenance, monitoring, and improvement of IT systems and services. This role serves as a first point of contact for end users, resolving routine technical issues, escalating more complex problems, and contributing to the day-to-day operations of the IT environment. The Analyst I collaborates with team members, follows established processes, and supports organizational initiatives to ensure reliable, secure, and efficient technology operations.

Requirements

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Foundational knowledge of Windows/macOS, productivity applications, and basic networking concepts.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to follow procedures and work collaboratively within a team environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with ticketing systems, Active Directory, and common enterprise tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Provide first-tier technical support for hardware, software, network, and account-related issues.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve incidents through phone, email, chat, or in-person support.
  • Log, track, and update support tickets using the organization’s IT service management tools.
  • Configure, install, and update computer systems, peripherals, and software applications.
  • Assist with user onboarding tasks such as device setup, account provisioning, and access requests.
  • Follow standard operating procedures, knowledge articles, and escalation workflows.
  • Support asset management, inventory tracking, and documentation updates.
  • Perform routine system checks, monitoring, and maintenance tasks as assigned.
  • Participate in IT projects under the guidance of senior analysts and engineers.
  • Maintain strong customer-service focus and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical users.
