The Analyst II, Training Analytics develops source data and analysis that provides insight into the effectiveness of the Training and Standards programs within the Training department. Responsible for producing monthly reports that effectively track the total number of training events (scheduled and performed), training failures, pilot attrition numbers, instructors’ competency, and proficiencies in all maneuvers and actions. The Analyst II will also assist with the preparation of AQP monthly data submission to FAA AFS-200, and all other duties as assigned by management. Responsibilities Excellence: Continually audit documentation for training. Identify and report any concerns associated with audits and present solutions when applicable. In-depth understanding of all training curricula and ability to effectively mine data required to gauge the health of training programs. Ensure all training activities comply with industry regulations, company policies, and safety standards. Stay current with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and other regulatory body requirements to ensure all training meets legal and operational standards. Understanding of FAA regulatory requirements. Identify areas for process improvements within the training operations and recommend changes to enhance efficiency or effectiveness. Grit: Demonstrate resilience in managing high-pressure situations, including unforeseen disruptions. Proactively anticipate potential issues and adjust items as needed to ensure smooth operations. Apply sound judgment and logical reasoning when identifying and resolving issues. Relationships: Assist with maintaining Dashboards for Training Leadership. Build strong partnerships with internal and external teams to enhance training delivery. Encourage effective collaboration and maintain positive relationships with other departments. Reliability: Collect and analyze pilot training data by extracting useful information from multiple sources. Oversee the implementation of updated processes to ensure compliance with industry standards. Must excel in data analysis and exhibit proficiency in aviation programs such as CrewTrac, CrewQual, CrewMINT for effective data mining. Carry out responsibilities independently, requiring minimal oversight or supervision. Evaluate and provide data streams; regulatory compliance issues; budgeting and manpower; training feedback and evaluation; training program effectiveness and provide recommendations. Maintain an established database where historical data can be easily retrieved for future analysis. Service: Share insights on best practices across teams to foster continuous improvement. Communicate effectively with different teams to resolve issues. Provide regular reports to management regarding the progress and effectiveness of training. Provide feedback to management regarding training logistics and operations.
