SUMMARY: The Credit Risk Analyst II is responsible for the administration and performance of tasks related to the mitigation of counterparty risk in the Risk Management department. This position is responsible for adhering to MEMS Risk Management policy, practices and procedures. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES: Analyze daily credit risk exposures across counterparties and products to identify trends and key risk drivers. Manage daily margin collateral and margin to mitigate credit risk. Set up credit lines in Allegro and actively monitor credit limits in ICE trading platform. Update monthly internal credit reporting to senior management. Monitor and manage a portfolio of clients with energy supply agreements. Review and analyze customers billed, unbilled, and unmetered receivables. Review and analyze customers lockbox bank account. Monitor collateral facility requirements. Monitor and provide updated daily A/P to MEMS. Proactively manage limit utilization and investigate breaches, developing mitigation strategies with Trading and Credit leadership. Review ISO invoices and ensure payments are paid/received by ISO. Review and analyze hedge ratios and ensure customer is within compliance. Report noncompliance of covenants. On a quarterly basis, evaluate parental guarantee fees and assist in the credit reserve calculation. Record trade entry errors for KPI monitoring. Partner with Trading, Middle Office, Accounting, and Risk teams to resolve discrepancies and optimize credit controls. Assist with other Risk Management activities as needed.
