About The Position

As a Business Data Analyst I, you will play a key role in supporting business users by helping them understand and define their data needs. You will be responsible for analyzing business metrics, ensuring data quality, and contributing to the implementation of data-driven strategies. This role is designed for individuals starting their careers in data analysis, with opportunities to grow and enhance their data skills in a dynamic business environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Management, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience working in a data-centric role with a focus on defining and managing business metrics, data analysis, and stakeholder engagement.
• Proficiency in SQL, Snowflake, Tableau, Power BI, or similar data analysis and visualization tools.
• Knowledge of data governance platforms is desirable.

Nice To Haves

• Advanced certifications in data analysis or data governance (e.g., CDMP, CBIP) are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business users to assist in defining key metrics that align with business goals.
• Monitor basic data quality, ensuring that data is accurate, complete, and consistent.
• Provide initial analysis of business data, helping identify trends and performance insights.
• Document business data requirements, including metric definitions and basic data workflows.
• Support data process improvements by identifying minor inefficiencies and proposing optimizations.
• Maintain documentation of data processes and assist in training business users on basic data visualization tools.
