About The Position

The Analyst I/Account Management is responsible for establishing and maintaining contracts and other related records, as well as maintaining working files of all agreements with Key Accounts (KA) and Energy Solutions (ES) partners/customers and supporting the efforts of the Energy Advisors (EA)/Account Advisors (AA)/Industrial Gas Engineers (IGE) who work directly with KA and ES customers. This position supports the efforts of employees in the KA and ES departments. It represents The Office of Customer Experience at both the corporate and division levels in projects that impact KA and ES customers, resolving complicated billing matters and correcting SAP issues where multiple departments must work together, FEA contract administration, FOMS (or relevant work management systems), drafting new contracts, tracking essential contract dates, and maintaining department procedures.

Requirements

  • There are clear precedents and practices that the incumbent uses as guidelines to determine how this job is performed.
  • This position requires one to two years of relevant work experience plus a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential job responsibilities successfully.
  • The incumbent must understand the technical provisions/terms of contracts and be proficient in contract writing.
  • This position requires excellent communication skills, PC software skills to create and maintain Microsoft Word documents, Microsoft Excel spreadsheets, databases, and Microsoft SharePoint files, and the ability to work comfortably with critical deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain contract templates, prepare contracts for EAs/AAs/IGEs, and coordinate and maintain contract files
  • Maintain contract exhibits to appropriately reflect the Company’s current rates and charges.
  • Assist with the review of contracts for completeness and compliance with original draft documents
  • Notify EA/AA/IGE or other appropriate Company personnel of any contract action required and establish/maintain follow-up procedures to ensure completion
  • Assist with the contract management KA and ES agreements, tracking key contract dates and milestones for renewals, monitoring financial security requirements, and ensuring annual adjustments and true-up provisions are calculated accurately and on time
  • Create and maintain customer files and safeguard original contracts
  • Assists with the analysis of varied business problems arising from the administration of existing contracts to provide suggestions and assistance to department staff and any interfacing departments
  • Represent KA and ES in Company projects that affect KA and ES customers or KA and ES department operations
  • Act as system administrator for the tracking system and mobile application containing KA and ES contract provisions
  • Track contract entitlements for KA customers or their respective agents
  • Perform related duties and responsibilities as assigned
