About the Department The Transfer Agent Oversight & Operations Support team safeguards Franklin Templeton’s funds by overseeing outsourced transfer agent vendors and ensuring regulatory, prospectus, and policy compliance. The team works cross-functionally with internal partners and vendors to manage risk, resolve escalations, and support operational stability. Employees gain exposure to complex fund operations, senior stakeholders, and meaningful decision-making that directly protects clients and the firm.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee outsourced transfer agent vendor performance.
  • Identify risks and escalate issues clearly.
  • Monitor regulatory impacts on funds and vendors.
  • Understand mutual fund operations and dependencies.
  • Communicate objectives across stakeholders.
  • Manage incidents and oversee resolution efforts.
  • Improve processes and reduce inefficiencies.
  • Identify, document, and assess risks.
  • Develop and support mitigation strategies.
