About The Position

Performs advanced professional analysis of natural gas measurement systems and data to ensure accurate financial reporting, supplier settlements, operational integrity, and regulatory compliance. Exercises independent judgment and discretion in resolving billing-impacting discrepancies, approving standard configurations, and supporting volumetric settlements. Serves as technical authority for assigned measurement portfolios.

Requirements

  • One (1) year of college coursework in engineering, business, accounting, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent combination of education and relevant technical experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in gas operations, gas control, measurement, allocations, or related technical/accounting roles.
  • Strong knowledge of natural gas measurement and accounting principles.
  • Proficient in gas management systems (eLynx, FLOWCAL) and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication across cross‑functional teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines with accuracy and minimal oversight.
  • Able to operate a personal computer, either desktop or laptop.
  • Able to sit for extended periods of time.
  • Able to operate a copy machine, fax machine, calculator, telephone and other miscellaneous office equipment.
  • Able to exert up to 10 Lbs. of force occasionally, and /or a minimal amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push or otherwise move objects.

Responsibilities

  • Independently monitor, reconcile, and resolve daily and monthly measurement discrepancies across assigned assets or regions.
  • Own assigned LUFG reconciliation activities and determine corrective actions for identified variances.
  • Approve standard measurement configurations within established governance frameworks.
  • Investigate and resolve billing-impacting measurement discrepancies and document defensible resolutions.
  • Lead standard volumetric settlement reviews and resolve routine disputes with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Serve as technical point-of-contact for field troubleshooting and data integrity issues.
  • Maintain and improve standard configuration templates for electronic measurement instruments.
  • Generate operational dashboards and analytical reports to support measurement performance management.
  • Own measurement performance for assigned assets, ensuring volumetric accuracy for financial reporting and regulatory compliance.
  • Configure and maintain measurement systems including FLOWCAL and eLynx.
