The Configuration and Data Management (CDM) organization is responsible for ensuring our products are under configuration control and delivered on time. The CDM Organization consists of multiple disciplines that support engineering, our program offices, and our customers. Disciplines in the CDM organization participate in the life cycle of our products from conception to deactivation. The Configuration and Data Management Department is seeking a professional candidate for a Data Manager position to work within the Data Management and Execution section.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline
  • Data Management / Configuration Management experience OR professional customer support experience
  • Experience utilizing Microsoft Office Suite
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
  • Active and existing security clearance required after day 1

  • General knowledge and understanding of following policies, procedures, and processes with a strong attention to detail
  • Solid competency in project planning
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with various engineering disciplines to ensure data integrity and compliance with configuration management policies
  • Experience reviewing data and/or processing documentation/records

Responsibilities

  • Identify all data deliverables made part of a contract and subsequently build a data track in a Product Data Management (PDM) system
  • Identify the appropriate preparers, receive the data, reviews for compliance, solicits and secures appropriate programmatic approval
  • Deliver information to Customer on time, throughout the lifecycle of contracts
  • Responsible for reviewing Sub-tier contractor requirements, building data tracks for supplier submissions, receiving data from various suppliers
  • Routing for approval and/or incorporation into prime contractor deliverables to the U.S. Government Customer, as well as securing non-deliverable program work products to be configuration controlled in the PDM system and other related tasking.
