Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or a related (STEM) discipline.
  • This position requires 24 months or less of relevant professional work experience (including internships).
  • Experience developing object-oriented software using C++.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is also required.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with developing, testing, and integrating software using C++ / Java or other modern software development language.
  • Experience with OOA/D and UML or similar design language/notation.
  • Familiarity with Agile or working knowledge of lifecycle processes including Scrum, and Continuous Integration.
  • Possess skills to handle fast pace and dynamic product development environment including engagement with systems and electrical engineers.
  • Experience working closely and directly within a team environment.
  • Demonstrated leadership and self-directed attributes.
  • Experience with tools such as Atlassian Suite (e.g., Bitbucket, Confluence, Crucible, Fisheye, Jira), Jenkins, Eclipse, etc

Responsibilities

  • As a Software Engineer, you will support one or more phases of the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) - requirements, design, development, test, validation, and maintenance.
  • You will support research and development activities and/or programs of record.
  • You will work with a talented team of engineers, architects, and leaders in an Agile environment.
