About The Position

About the Role & Team The Disney Direct to Consumer (DTC) team is building the future of media and entertainment. In six years, we’ve created the must-have streaming homes of Marvel, Pixar, Walt Disney Animation, 20th Century Studios, Hulu, and ESPN (and many more iconic brands). We do this through utilizing cutting-edge technology and best-in-class storytelling – stories that may start at Disney Streaming, but go on to impact our theatrical movies, consumer products, parks, resorts, cruises, and media networks. The DTC Subscriber Growth & Monetization (SGM) team is a talented and highly visible team of professionals with backgrounds in consulting, investment banking, operational planning, and strategic finance. The SGM team are the owners of subscriber, revenue, engagement, and monetization strategic planning and reporting to the DTC executive leadership team. This analyst position sits within the Pricing & Yield Management team responsible for driving research, analysis and decisions around pricing strategy and promotion optimization. What You Will Do Reporting to the Manager, DTC Pricing and Yield Management, the Analyst will provide analytical and business modeling support to drive and optimize our global subscription pricing for Disney+, Hulu, and the Disney Bundle portfolio. Illustrative examples include ideating, evaluating, and tracking subscriber acquisition, retention, and engagement initiatives, and analyzing proprietary pricing and promotions research to inform growth and monetization opportunities. Given the dynamic scope of Pricing & Yield Management, projects will often be complex, fluid, and involve multiple stakeholders. Success in this role requires robust analytical skills with an interest in leveraging data to solve problems, as well as ability to build and maintain complex financial models. The Analyst will be expected to work independently on projects and adeptly manage expectations of peers and cross-functional partners across Subscriber Growth, Business Operations, Product, Data & Analytics, and regional teams.
