About The Position

Analyst Desktop Support is a third tier relating to desktop services at ATSU. The person in this position, will be working under minimal supervision, will mentor other technicians in providing end-user support for the processes. Analyst Desktop Support will keep his/her supervisor apprised of new developments or techniques listed.

Requirements

  • Two year ITS or ITS experience.
  • Strong leadership
  • Ability to analyze and resolve issues while under pressure
  • Ability to interpret and apply information from manuals

  • Desktop architecture
  • Endpoint management administration
  • Microsoft Server and Active Directory administration
  • Group policy management
  • Building and deploying OS images
  • On-call after hours support

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the smooth running of desktop technology on both campuses, CHCs, Regional sites and for all ATSU students, both residential and non-traditional.
  • Resolve issues when escalated from Tier 1 and Tier 2 technicians.
  • Prepare processes in order to introduce new technology to ATSU, while maintaining current technology to optimum standards.
  • Analyze the issues that may arise during the introduction of new resources and the issues that can arise with existing resources.
