About The Position

About this role: Wells Fargo is seeking a High Grade Debt Capital Markets Analyst as part of Corporate & Investment Banking Group. The High Grade Debt Capital Markets ("DCM") team originates, structures, and underwrites various debt securities for corporate clients with predominantly investment grade ratings. The DCM team works very closely with investment banking coverage partners and relationship managers as product experts to provide debt financing solutions tailored to our clients' needs. The team’s expertise includes public and private bonds, revolving credit facilities, term loans, syndicated acquisition financing, hybrids, and commercial paper among others. In this role, you will: Assist in pitching and executing capital markets debt transactions (i.e. primarily publicly-traded bonds and other debt securities) Participate in analyzing companies and their capital structure Make recommendations to clients Identify opportunities for process improvements within the Investment Banking Program Review and analyze market data, valuation analyses, models, and presentations that require research, evaluation, selection of alternatives, and exercise independent judgment to guide medium risk deliverables Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals Take ownership of client deliverables and coordinate with your team to execute Interact with internal and external customers

Requirements

  • 6+ months of Investment Banking Program experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Nice To Haves

  • 6+ months of capital markets experience
  • 6+ months of financial services industry experience
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Bachelor's Degree with academic distinction and coursework in financial accounting, economics and corporate finance; MBA or CFA a plus
  • Willingness to work long hours in a demanding, highly focused collaborative and fast paced team environment with a sense of personal accountability and urgency for achieving results
