About The Position

This role supports commission operations by improving processes and leading projects related to commission payouts. It involves analyzing commission procedures, reporting improvements, and serving as a liaison among internal partners including systems, testing, reporting, and compensation design. The role provides subject matter expertise and leads associate analysts to ensure accurate commission operations. Success is measured by effective process improvements, accurate commission payouts, and timely resolution of related issues. The work impacts the organization by enhancing commission accuracy and supporting internal collaboration for compensation management. This is a hybrid role (3 days/week in the office) and will be based in Overland Park, KS.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Familiarity with compensation concepts or strong analytical experience in related fields (such as finance or operations)
  • Good customer service/client relationship management skills
  • Demonstrates troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to create effective working relationships with key business resources
  • Foundational understanding of financial trends
  • Good verbal and written communications skills
  • Ability to write and maintain Standard Operating Procedures
  • Microsoft Excel skills
  • Ability to operate in SharePoint, OneNote, Power BI, and a Service Desk support tool environment
  • Possesses interest in developing basic SQL/Database skills
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States

Responsibilities

  • Develop and report on various commission-related reports to meet operational management needs
  • Conduct operational assessments to identify risks and gaps, proposing systematic solutions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive project execution and completion
  • Provide subject matter expertise and analytical support for commission-related projects and initiatives
  • Validate system data loads and commission payouts, assess impacts, and resolve payout issues
  • Serve as a liaison between internal partners including systems, testing, reporting, and compensation design
  • Also responsible for other duties/projects as assigned by business management as needed
