This position is classified as “in-office.” As an in-office role, it requires employees to work from a designated Carnival office in South Florida, Tuesday through Thursday each week. Employees may work from their homes on Mondays and Fridays. Candidates must be located in (or willing to relocate to) the Miami/Ft—Lauderdale area. Responsibilities Work closely with the NASC Supply Chain, Procurement Operations, and Sourcing teams (responsible for each spend category) to identify opportunities for operational improvements, create and communicate problem statements, and develop and execute analysis plans and recommendations. Gather, organize, reconcile, clean up large data sets, and conduct relevant analyses. Identify insights, synthesize results, and prepare management presentations. Prepare PowerPoint presentations summarizing data analysis and potential opportunities. Show financial impact as well as non-quantifiable implications. Create presentations that are clear, concise, easy to follow, and ready to use at executive levels (CFO, CPO) Gather and standardize spend data to create dashboards across brands. Dashboards should have key performance indicators and be interactive, so the end user can select specific categories and time periods. Ability to understand end-to-end process and create process maps to identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities across the supply chain Develop an implementation plan, timelines, and responsibility Communicate effectively with stakeholders from our 8 Brands across the world throughout the whole process Sample analyses include cost-benefit analyses, buy vs. lease, ship vs. buy-local, “what if” analysis, and custom spend reports Conduct market research and have the ability to synthesize and present findings Work with the systems team to continuously improve sourcing systems by (e.g., improving functionality and fixing of bugs/issues). Support in supply chain master data maintenance and governance activities Develop and maintain a proficient knowledge in procurement systems utilized for sourcing, including Oracle, Ariba, Coupa, and others, and contribute to driving the adoption of sourcing systems from stakeholders Support sourcing leads by running/managing eSourcing events when needed Work with Category leads, PMO, and Finance teams to make sure savings are accurately measured and validated Monitor savings, identify risks, and escalate when appropriate Report on value-add initiatives Performs other duties as assigned
