What is the opportunity? Support the Global Markets business and work closely in partnership with Capital Markets businesses and Functions to achieve strategic objectives What will you do? Candidate will be aiding pockets of the business – primarily Spread and Macro Products on Governance, Strategy & implementation, Performance/ KPI Management, Messaging & Communication, New Business Initiatives, Technology and Operational Matters To a lesser degree, regional-focused Business Manager supporting local trade floor initiatives in U.S. Act as a liaison between Front Office, senior GM business managers and various functional teams such as Technology, Finance, Compliance, Risk, Operations & Legal Represent the business in business-specific or firm-wide regulatory, support and control function projects Develop key business and financial metrics, ensuring efficiency of GM, and analyze business metrics to identify areas of improvement Develop recommendations to business problems in coordination with functional groups including, Operations, Risk, Legal, Tax, and Finance Proactively identify and escalate operational risks/control deficiencies in the GM Business to line manager/ Business Heads and the relevant risk and control functions What do you need to succeed? Must-have Problem Solver & Analytical Ability to work and communicate with varying levels of seniority/ strong personalities 1-3 years of Capital Markets experience 1-3 years working experience in Front Office, Operations, Finance/ Product Control, Technology or Consulting strongly preferred Strong interest in markets and technical skills with Excel, and PowerPoint Strong written and oral communication skills Strong organization skills Demonstrated ability to work independently and within a team setting Demonstrated ability to perform effectively in high-pressure environments Strong team player that can work with resources across the organization Success in this role depends on being able to handle criticism and feedback constructively Basic Knowledge of the Global Markets business – particularly Fixed Income products (Securitization, Alternative Finance, Credit, Municipals, Rates, FX, Commodities and Futures) What’s in it for you? This salary range does not include other elements of total compensation, including a discretionary bonus and benefits such as a 401(k) program with company-matching contributions; health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance; and paid time-off plan.
