About The Position

Position Summary The Asset Management Specialist is responsible for overseeing the interchange assets using the current RLX platform as the Transporation Management System (TMS) and manage processes with our Preferred Vendor Program providers. This role is critical in ensuring that our vendors adhere to compliance standards, optimize asset utilization, and maintain operational efficiency. This position will require a proactive and offense style management of all assets, including preventive maintenance compliance, quality assurance and physical location tracking. Essential Duties and Responsibilities The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: Communicate with internal and external stakeholders regarding client interchanged assets and company owned assets including but not limited trailers, forklifts, floor scrubbers, leased buildings, and building assets such as IT equipment and furniture. Leverage ERP systems to maintain accurate data that improves operational efficiency and provides real time insight to internal and external stakeholders Ensure preventative maintenance schedules are followed to mitigate asset downtime Supporting other team members in projects to help develop, improve, and implement processes impacting the company. Provide training to stakeholders on all processes related to Asset Management. Provide documentation and identify accountability for incidents and occurrences that may impact the company to a degree of liability Monitor and complete assigned audits of internal systems as well as physical locations to ensure safety and security standards are maintained Conduct field inspections of client interchanged and RLX owned assets to identify, report, repair, and/or chargeback damages Assist in the completion of invoice reconciliation for applicable vendors Performing other duties as assigned and 25% -50% Travel Required Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities) Associates degree or 2 years experience in a Compliance, Asset Management or Auditor role required Exceptional discretion, flexibility, and willingness to work closely with our senior management Advanced attention to detail Advanced ability to multi-task and prioritize in a busy, fast-growth environment Completent understanding of compliance SOPs for onboarding and auditing processes Competent level of organizational and communication skills Competent project management skills Competent in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel Basic understanding of USDOT FMCSA regulations and requirements Basic understanding of Riverstone Contract Carrier Contract requirements Basic understanding of 3PL Last Mile delivery industry and insurance market Note This job description in no way states or implies that these are the only duties to be performed by the employee(s) incumbent in this position. Requirements

  • Associates degree or 2 years experience in a Compliance, Asset Management or Auditor role required
  • Exceptional discretion, flexibility, and willingness to work closely with our senior management
  • Advanced attention to detail
  • Advanced ability to multi-task and prioritize in a busy, fast-growth environment
  • Completent understanding of compliance SOPs for onboarding and auditing processes

Responsibilities
