The following position is to join our Enterprise Services BBN team: Brief Description of Department We are seeking a highly motivated Analyst to be part of the ESC&C team within the RTX Enterprise Service organization. The team is responsible for ensuring accuracy of balance sheet intercompany transactions to support statutory financials and ensure compliance with GAAP. The intercompany team is involved in the full contract to cash process by consulting with the business on new scenarios all the way through the lifecycle to clearing of open items through cash settlement. The role provides exposure to a variety of business areas with regular interactions with Finance business leaders, Tax, Treasury, and peer intercompany groups within Enterprise Services.

Requirements

  • This role typically requires a bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field and at least 1 year of experience ( not including externships)
  • Knowledge and reporting experience with SAP, JD Edwards, and HFM
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills with ability to work well on a team
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and look up functions

Nice To Haves

  • CPA is a plus
  • Operational Finance experience preferred
  • Strong organizational, planning and problem-solving skills with ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for Collins Aerospace Intercompany Accounting supporting the Avionics, Mission Systems, Interiors & CAS business segments.
  • Review and perform assigned monthly account reconciliations. Upon review, unreconciled items should be followed up with timely resolution and financial risk is accounted for.
  • Prepare and execute intercompany billings to deliver timely to RTX entities.
  • Investigate and resolve reconciling intercompany differences between assigned intercompany pairings through AP and AR matching.
  • Prepare and record intercompany-related journal entries.
