About The Position

Change the world. Love your job. The Analog Field Applications Engineer (AFAE) is responsible for partnering with Sales and providing Analog related technical expertise throughout the sales cycle. The AFAE proactively identifies current products and/or creative solutions to solve existing customer projects and create new functionality/opportunities. In this role, the AFAE uses in-depth product knowledge to provide technical expertise to gain credibility and develop relationships with customers. Primary responsibilities include: Collaborate with sales to grow TI's analog revenue with a targeted customer Work with the sales team to prioritize and target key and emerging accounts for TI growth opportunities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in EE/Comp Eng, or comparable
  • Minimum XX years of experience in Analog disciplines applicable to our customer's end equipment spaces such as sensors, signal conditioning, data acquisition, power design, clocking and timing, or data communications
  • Experience with design, analysis, and debug of related circuits or sub-systems
  • Ability to run simulations, and create/ review schematics and board layout
  • Ability to help customers debug board level issues
